Blog Statistics

Unsatisfactory

This was our blog’s view statistics and this is not satisfactory. The views are not consistent because some days we have hundreds of views then other days we have no views what so ever. This is an issue we have to solve by creating better content and spreading the main idea of the blog site.

Park Safety and Regulations

Park safety is gaining more recognition. The video shows what happened.

There’s been a death at a public park and it provides reasoning for authorities to increase security in a park. The video is an infomercial about the situation of NYC public parks. This video is to create awareness for the situation at hand. The video was created with an outline, there was research online and using articles, an outline was made for the video which then was made into the actual video. This video was safety, there are videos about history of parks and water sanitation.

“The Capital Process of Parks And the Components required”

This video was created to display all components the New York City and Recreation uses to create new parks or renovate old parks:

Visual Presentation

The Video was to present all the components of creating new parks and fixing old used up parks. The video contains the “Design Phase” and the “Procurement Phase” where it sums up all the components necessary to build the final finished park. It contains a lot of signing registrations and lots of legal review. There are lots of design meetings and reviews to finish the project.

In addition, there are parts where the comptroller’s have to check the designs and the legal reviews to make sure everything is in order. The video also presents what a good park should have. For example, lots of trees and grass, paths for civilians and they should not trash the park.

Importance of Clean Water

This is a video explaining the importance of clean water, why we should care, and what we can do to help bring cleaner water to others.

Unclean drinking and recreational water exposure has accounted for many outbreaks of cryptosporidiosis, which is an important cause of epidemic diarrhea in the general population and can be an untreatable severe or life-threatening infection in immunosuppressed individuals. Because low levels of Cryptosporidium oocysts have been detected in 65%–97% of surface-water supplies, there is concern that most populations may be at risk for waterborne infection. Knowledge on transmission routes, water-based diseases and their preventions is inadequate, which is why you should spread information about water-based diseases and their preventions. As well as this, you should treat your water. There are a variety of simple and helpful solutions, such as solar disinfection in clear plastic bottles and chlorination plus storage in an improved vessel.

My goal for this video was to spread awareness about transmission routes, water-based diseases, and their preventions. We hope that people use these solutions to treat home water, as well as use this knowledge to treat water in public facilities, such as parks. Please like, comment, and subscribe.
